Match Prediction:
India began their World Test Championship 2025-2027 campaign with a three-day victory over the West Indies at Windsor Park, earning 12 points. The hosts were outmatched on all fronts and lost by an innings and 141 runs. Their batting performance in particular was abysmal, and the club would need to do something extraordinary to make a comeback tonight. India leads the series 1-0 and is favored to win the final game at Queen’s Park Oval.
Winning Chances:
Toss Prediction:
Batting last on this wicket will be difficult against both sides’ excellent spin bowlers. In Trinidad, we anticipate that both teams would want to bat first.
Weather Report:
All five scheduled days of the Test Match are expected to be humid, with a substantial risk of rain showers on each day.
Pitch Report:
Pitch will turn as the game goes in Trinidad. The spinners will take longer to enter the game than in the first Test, and we estimate a par total of around 400 in the first innings.
Head to Head:
This will be the 100th Test between the West Indies and India, with India winning the series 31-22. The remaining three games were won by scores of 318 runs, 257 runs and an innings, and 141 runs, respectively.

West Indies Preview
In every format, the West Indies appear to be becoming worse. Following their previous failure in the World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe, it was thought that they would fare better in the Test series at home. They were always on the back foot, though, after being bowled out for just 150 in the first innings, with the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja taking 8 wickets between them. With a 271-run deficit, the hosts faced an uphill task and were eventually bowled out for 130 runs in their second outing as they struggled once more against Ashwin and Jadeja.
Kraigg Brathwaite, Jermaine Blackwood, and Tagenarine Chanderpaul are among the quality batsmen on the home side, but they will need to be at their best against this Indian bowling assault.
West Indies Squad Prediction:
Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Raymon Reifer, Jermaine Blackwood, Alick Athanaze, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Jason Holder, Rahkeem Cornwall, Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican
India Preview
India couldn’t have wished for a better start to their West Indies tour. Their spinners dominated the West Indian hitters, while the batting lineup also delivered.
Ravichandran Ashwin was the match’s standout performer, taking 12 wickets for 131 runs. No Windies batter was able to counter the cunning off-spinners skill and tactics, and we expect him to provide another outstanding performance in the upcoming Test. Ashwin was well backed by left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, who finished the Test with 5 wickets. This spin combo has made life difficult for numerous batting lineups and will be the most difficult obstacle for the hosts to overcome.
India Squad Prediction:
Rohit Sharma (c), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishan Kishan (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohammed Siraj

Who will win West Indies vs India?
The West Indies have quality players, but they lack confidence and lack the batting depth required at this level. India enters this Test as the favorite.
West Indies vs India Prediction:
Although India was much too excellent for the West Indies last week, and have not lost to them in this format since 2002, the hosts will be eager to improve in this Test. We expect the West Indies to be competitive, since they have only lost one of their last seven Tests in Trinidad. However, we expect India to come out on top and win this game.
