Commencing early next year, Zimbabwe’s tour of Sri Lanka will consist of two white-ball series.
On January 3, Zimbabwe will embark on a three-game ODI series in Sri Lanka, which will commence on January 6. The 14-18 January will then be devoted to a three-game Twenty20 International series.
Zimbabwe, conversely, will be seeking to rebound from a sequence of unsatisfactory outcomes. Due to their inability to achieve a top-two finish in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier, they were unable to qualify for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Subsequently, they suffered a 1-2 series loss at home to Ireland.
