As a consequence of India’s defeat in the thrilling match in Gqeberha, Suryakumar amassed 56 runs off 36 deliveries. The attacking right-hander gained a total of 10 rating points, further strengthening his position as the No. 1 batsman in the shortest format of the game.
With fewer than six months until the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup commences, the India star has amassed a remarkable 865 rating points, significantly surpassing his closest competitors, Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan (787 rating points) and Aiden Markram of South Africa (758).
Suryakumar notably attained the top ranking in the final days of the T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand at the conclusion of the previous year.
