Avesh Khan has 149 wickets in 38 first-class matches

A fast bowler from Madhya Pradesh named Avesh Khan, who made his debuts in both one-day internationals and Twenty20 internationals in the previous year, has been selected to India’s Test team for the second match against South Africa, which will begin on January 3 in Cape Town.

Under the condition that he receives a fitness clearance, Shami was included in the first team that was selected for the tour. However, this information did not originate from the BCCI medical team, and as a result, he was subsequently disqualified from the series.

India’s first test match, which took place at Centurion and was lost by an innings, resulted in the BCCI naming the successor. Earlier this month, Avesh participated in the one-day international series that was held in South Africa. He took six wickets in three matches. Avesh has 149 wickets in first-class cricket, including seven five-wicket hauls as a result of his performance in 38 matches.
