England has not replaced him in the team for the third ODI or the T20I series
Will Jacks, a player for England’s cricket team, has injury to his left thigh while fielding during the 2nd ODI match against Bangladesh. As a result, he will be flying back to England within the next 48 hours to start his treatment procedure.
It has been a grueling winter for Will Jacks, who has been playing for England in all three formats of the game. He made his T20I debut on the tour of Pakistan in September and has been on the move ever since. In mid-November, he flew to the UAE for a training camp ahead of England’s Test tour to Pakistan, where he made his Test debut and took a six-wicket haul in Rawalpindi. In January, he played for Pretoria Capitals in the SA20 and then flew to New Zealand as England’s backup Test spinner. After being left out of the second Test in Wellington, he flew to Dhaka and arrived three days before the first ODI. In Bangladesh, he made 26 and 1 in his two innings from No. 6 and took one wicket across 11 tidy overs.
For either the next three-match T20I series or Monday’s third ODI in Chattogram, England did not add Jacks to their lineup. They’ll only have 13 players to choose from in the T20Is as a result, making them susceptible to any last-minute illness or injury.
They had the option of keeping James Vince or Jason Roy in their team, but it seems like both players would stay in Pakistan to finish out their PSL contracts. Ben Duckett will come in Bangladesh prior to the T20I series after spending time on vacation in Dubai following his participation in England’s second Test match against New Zealand.
