Commentators Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth will team up for the 2023 Indian Premier League.

Fans are excited for the return of the world’s largest T20 tournament, the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to begin its 16th season on March 31, 2023. The match will kick off on March 31 in Ahmedabad, with the defending champion Gujarat Titans taking against the Chennai Super Kings.

Before the 2023 IPL started, veteran Indian spinners Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth worked together to cover the tournament for Star Sports. Before the 2023 IPL, the tournament’s official broadcaster released a video announcing that Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, and Mohammad Kaif would be part of the commentary team.

Fans of the game would be happy with the decision to pair Harbhajan Singh with Sreesanth since the two have moved on from the infamous “Slapgate,” in which Harbhajan was said to have slapped Sreesanth after one of the IPL matches in 2008.

Harbhajan Singh used to play for Mumbai Indians, whereas Sreesanth used to play for Kings XI Punjab. (now Punjab Kings). It was also said that the two players didn’t talk to each other for a long time following the event. But the new footage proves that both players have put the past behind them.

As fans get more and more excited for the next season of the IPL, they can’t wait to see the numerous significant improvements that will be made to the tournament.

The IPL 2023 looks like it will be a lot of fun, with the new “impact player” regulation, new players on the teams, and a great group of commentators. In the tournament’s first game of the new season, the defending champions, the Gujarat Titans, play the Chennai Super Kings. The team captained by Hardik Pandya will want to do as well as they did last season.
