Sunrisers Hyderabad are not scared by how well Rinku Singh and Shardul Thakur batted in KKR’s last two Indian Premier League (IPL) games, and their captain Aiden Markram said on Thursday that he is sure their bowlers will do what they are supposed to do at the end.
Kolkata Knight Riders beat Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans in their last two matches because of their powerful hitting, which helped them get scores of 200 or more both times.
“If you look at their team, you can tell they will play bold, attacking cricket.” Markram told reporters the day before their match, “Each of them can be a huge threat to us on their best day.”
“We need to stick to what we’re good at out in the middle.” That will give us the best chance of making our plans come true. Shardul and Rinku have been finishing well for KKR, so the team has been doing well.
“But we will have good plans, and we have a lot of experience and some excellent death bowlers in our camp, so we are confident in them.” “We hope that we can do well tonight.”
SRH’s pace attack will be led by the experienced Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who will be helped by the arrival of Markram’s fellow South African Marco Jansen. Umran Malik will also be a part of this three-pronged pace attack.
After letting go of Rashid Khan, SRH now has Washington Sundar and Mayank Markande as their spin pair.
After losing their first two games of the season, SRH got back on track when Rahul Tripathi scored 74 runs without being out and helped them beat Punjab Kings by eight wickets.
Tripathi used to play for KKR, so he will try to help the team in any way he can.
“It’s always good to have someone on your team who used to be on the team you’re playing against.” We will use Rahul’s experience and information as best we can, that’s for sure.
“It’s great to see a player like Rahul in good shape.” The way he does his job is a lot of fun to watch. “It’s great that he’s feeling that way right now,” Markram said.
The South African said the team is in a good mood and plans to fight against KKR.
“If you look around the camp right now, you’ll see that everyone is in a good mood and full of energy.
“Well, that’s what happens when you win the first race… The last game gave everyone hope for the next one. We still need to understand and accept that this is a new game and that we must start from scratch tomorrow. “But if we can carry that confidence and energy into tomorrow, it will greatly help us.”
Their big buys, Harry Brook and Heinrich Klaasen, haven’t done much yet, and the big Indian player, Mayank Agarwal, hasn’t done much either.
“That doesn’t worry us too much.” Your more prominent players know and understand that they want to help the team win games and contribute. Our team may need more than one or two stars. We saw that happen in the last match.
“But, yes, it makes me happy to see everyone doing their part in small parts of the game.” A match can be lost in small ways in T20 cricket. We will count on our teams to win a few games in a row.
