Table toppers In Match No. 26 of the IPL 2023, on Wednesday, April 19, the Rajasthan Royals will play the second-placed Lucknow Super Giants. The top-of-the-table match will take place at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. The Royal will play their third home game of the season on Wednesday, but this will be the first time Sanju Samson’s team has played in Jaipur.
The winners of the first season have won four of their five games, and they beat the reigning champion Gujarat Titans for the first time in their history on Tuesday. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, and Samson, the captain of the Royals, have done well at the top of the order, and they would like to keep scoring at the same rate in future games.
But the No. 4 spot is the trouble. Devdutt Padikkal and Riyan Parag have yet to be able to show who’s in charge, which is a problem. But Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel have done well as ends, and Ravichandran Ashwin has made essential contributions when he has had to.
Trent Boult has been on fire with the ball in the first over. In three of the four games he played in, he helped his team score first. And Sandeep Sharma, who did well at the end of the game against Chennai Super Kings, helps him. Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal, who won the Purple Cap last year, will be in charge of the spin bowlers and pose a significant threat to LSG hitters.
It will be interesting to see if West Indies star all-rounder Jason Holder replaces Adam Zampa in the starting XI for the top-of-the-table match. Holder, who has shown he can do well in the simplest form of the game, was left off RR’s team when they played GT.

Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c and wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel, Jason Holder, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal are likely to play for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023.
