Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, the former captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Bollywood star respectively, provided a meal for the RCB players and personnel at their own diner, ‘One8 Commune’ in Juhu, Mumbai, post their IPL 2023 game. RCB were defeated by the Mumbai Indians during the Tuesday evening fixture, following which Kohli and Anushka organised a dinner on the Wednesday evening.
RCB captain Faf du Plessis, pacers Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood, Wayne Parnell, all-rounder Wanidu Hasaranga, and other RCB players arrived in the team bus wearing casuals to One8 Commune in Juhu, with some of the players bringing their families along for the dinner.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were a vision of beauty as usual. Anushka paired a sleeveless, white-striped shirt with white trousers, whereas Kohli went for a patterned shirt. As the couple posed for the paparazzi outside the restaurant, a paparazzo mistakenly referred to Anushka as ‘Sir’.
The former Indian captain seized this opportunity to have a little fun. He said to the paps, “Virat ma’am bhi bol de ek baar.” (Please call me Virat ‘Ma’am’ once). The couple and the paps burst into laughter. Several videos of the incident went viral.
Kohli is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League 2023. With 420 runs in 11 matches and six fifties so far this season, Kohli is RCB’s second-highest run-getter. With 576 runs in 11 matches and six fifties, captain Faf du Plessis leads RCB and the league in run totals.
On the other hand, the actor from “Rab ne bana di Jodi” will appear in the film “Chakda Xpress,” which is produced by her brother Karnesh Sharma. Virat and Anushka have scored a few goals between matches, once in Bengaluru and once in Delhi.
