The Bollywood celebrity was dissatisfied with India’s performance in the WTC Final and criticized the intensity of Rohit Sharma’s team.
On Day 1 of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final at the Oval, India were brutally outplayed by Australia, with the Rohit Sharma-led side capturing just three wickets after allowing more than 300 runs. Several commentators were dissatisfied with India’s lack of energy and even questioned the choice not to deploy Ravichandran Ashwin. Harsh Vardhan Kapoor, a Bollywood celebrity, resorted to social media to vent his thoughts about the day’s play, lamenting the fact that Virat Kohli is no longer the leader of the Indian cricket team.
Terrible tragedy that @imVkohli isn’t test captain anymore there is no intensity / hunger without him at the helm the players are passive and just going through the motions under Rohit .. poor team selection also Ashwin had to play + Bumrah out through injury is a huge blow

Earlier, Australia, who had been called to bat, had accumulated 97 runs in 28 overs for the loss of one wicket in the post-lunch session. At lunch, they were 73 for 2 after opener David Warner hit 43 off 60 balls.
On the day, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur each took a wicket.
