Danish Kaneria believes India needs to improve its bowling for the World Cup.

Danish Kaneria Said India Needs To Improve Bowling For The World Cup.

Danish Kaneria, a former spinner for Pakistan, has said that India needs better spinners to win the 50-over World Cup. Australia trounced India by 21 runs in Chennai, giving them a 2-1 win in the ODI series. Kaneria claimed on his YouTube channel that India’s bowling line-up is terrible and that they need more potent bowlers to win the big tournament. In October 2023, India will also host the ICC Men’s World Cup.

“India’s bowling line-up is a mess. For the World Cup, they need better bowlers. The Indian team can’t win the World Cup with these people. I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is how they bowl. “They’ll have to give Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh, and T Natarajan some chances because it’s unclear whether Jasprit Bumrah will be available,” Danish Kaneria said.

While discussing India’s loss in the ODI series against Australia, the former Pakistan player remarked that Indian batters had trouble facing Australian spinners because they flip the ball more than Indian spinners, who can also bowl rapidly.

“They say that Indian batsmen are great spinners. In the nets, the Indian batters face off against Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, and Yuzvendra Chahal, who don’t turn the ball because they bowl fast. “Because the Australian spinners could turn the ball, they made it hard for India,” Kaneria said.

But India won the Test series against Australia. On the other hand, Australia beat India 2-1 in a 3-game ODI series after the home team couldn’t beat 270 in the series-deciding match in Chennai. Even though Australia lost the first ODI of the series in Mumbai, they returned and won the second one to tie the series. They then won the last one in Chennai to seal the deal.
