“His Brother Had Won The Orange Cap” Ex India Star Predicts Huge IPL

Mitchell Marsh has been in devastating form for Australia in the recently concluded ODI series against India and he was instrumental in guiding the visitors to a 2-1 win. Marsh concluded the series with 191 runs from three games, aided by two half-centuries, and former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja backed the Australian superstar to maintain his current form.

Marsh is currently a member of Delhi Capitals, and Jadeja believes that if he continues to score at the same rate, Delhi will win the title in 2023. The former India batsman also recalled that his brother, Shaun Marsh, won the Orange Cap in 2008, but was unable to lead his team, Kings XI Punjab, to victory in the inaugural season.

“What a performance (from Mitchell Marsh). Delhi (Capitals) fans would be quite thrilled with this. Such a significant player and now he has to come to form. Once, his brother won the Orange Cap, but Punjab was unable to win the competition. But if he (Mitchell) wins the Orange Cap, their team would win the tournament, such is the influence of this player,” On April 1, Delhi Capitals will begin their season against Lucknow Super Giants.

As a result of an injury, Rishabh Pant was ruled out of the team’s preparations, and David Warner was selected as the new captain. Axar Patel was selected as his deputy.

Rilee Rossouw, Mukesh Kumar, Phil Salt, and Manish Pandey were among the key players that the Delhi Capitals were able to acquire during the auctions to bolster their roster.
