England, West Indies stars enjoy T20I rankings rise.

T20I rankings

The opener has reached a career high rating of 602 and second place on the MRF Tyres T20I batting rankings due to his extraordinary form.

Following Wednesday’s most recent update, Salt was among several players from the high-scoring West Indies vs. England Twenty20 International series in the Caribbean to experience an increase in value.

The England opener’s career-high rating of 802 surpassed that of Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan in third place by 15 rating points, following his scores of 119 and 38 in Trinidad. This elevated him 18 positions.

It is daylight between the rest of the field and Suryakumar Yadav in the lead, with the India batsman still well clear on 887, notwithstanding Salt’s surge.

Comparable English batsman Liam Livingstone rose 27 positions to 38th in the batting order with innings of 54 runs and 28 balls in the same contests. In the category for all-rounders, Livingstone’s efforts contributed to a four-place rise to eighth (175). His action caused Shadab Khan of Pakistan and compatriot Moeen Ali to share the equal-ninth position (173).

The West Indies won the five-match Twenty20 International series by a score of 3-2, with the decisive match being won primarily due to their effective bowling, which restricted England to 132 runs before the latter completed a comeback from a deficit of six wickets.

Akeal Hosein, a left-arm spinner, amassed 2/20 in four overs to advance two positions to fourth place (683), surpassing Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana of Sri Lanka (679 and 677, respectively). Gudakesh Motie rose 75 positions with 3/24 (4) in the same performance, while Reece Topley of the England team has risen 13 positions to enter the top 10 bowlers with five wickets from the two matches played this week.

A few minor reorganizations have occurred in the interim, in conjunction with the ODI series between New Zealand and Bangladesh and India’s visit to South Africa.

Shoriful Islam rose 24 positions to 35th due to his outstanding performance with the ball in hand, whereas promising India left-armer Arshdeep Singh rose 41 positions but remained outside the top 100.

Najmul Hossain Shanto, who rose nine positions to equal-49th, moved on the batting side, while Tony de Zorzi of South Africa entered the top 100 with a 39-place move.

Against the Black Caps, Soumya Sarkar’s sensational 169 (151) helped him ascend 52 positions, while Sanju Samson rose 54 positions to 405.

Sarkar surpassed The Little Master’s 163* in Christchurch to break Sachin Tendulkar’s 13-year record for the highest ODI score by a subcontinent player in New Zealand.

Samson scored 108 (114) runs while batting at No. 3 in Paarl as India held the Proteas to 296 in the third ODI.
