ICC Twenty20 World Cups feature a vibrant new brand identity

The apex of global cricket has recently undergone a dynamic transformation with the introduction of the ICC T20 World Cup’s brand identity on Thursday, December 7th.

The transformation encapsulates the intrinsic tension present in each delivery of the Twenty20 cricket ball, which is widely recognized for its rapid-fire sequences and moments of great intensity. The new visual identity encapsulates the incessant vitality of the format.

The brand identity features textures and patterns that draw inspiration from the host country of each World Cup edition. For instance, a unique pattern honoring the palm trees of the West Indies and the’stripes’ of the United States, which will be hosting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, is incorporated.

The emblem, an ingenious amalgamation of the bat, the ball, and vitality, represents the fundamental components of Twenty20 International cricket. The T20 lettering undergoes a dynamic transformation, existing as a striking bat encased in a dynamic ball.

The strike graphic incorporated into the ball reflects the distinctive ambiance and electrifying vitality encountered in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The zig-zag pattern symbolizes escalating exhilaration and moments of palpitation.

The ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups promise to deliver an electrifying and edge-of-your-seat experience to cricket fans globally, and we hope the new visual identity reflects that vision and energy,” said Claire Furlong, the ICC General Manager – Marketing and Communications.

The incorporation of the distinctive patterns in the brand will provide hosts with a unique element across the event’s look and feel.

We have an exciting six months ahead of us building up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA, and fans can now register their interest to receive World Cup information and ticket news.”

The ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2024 will take place from June 4 to 30, 2024, in the West Indies and the United States.
