Announcement of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule
The ICC 2023 World Cup schedule was revealed on Tuesday, kicking off the 100-day countdown to the premier tournament. The hosts, captained by Rohit Sharma, are under pressure to win their first ICC crown in a decade.
The main tournament will be off on October 5 in Ahmedabad with a match between defending champions England and New Zealand. The final will be held at the same location on October 19. The Indian cricket team, coached by Rohit Sharma, will open its season against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The much-anticipated duel between India and Pakistan will take place on October 15 in Ahmedabad. Aside from that, the two semi-finals will be held at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium and Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.
