IPL 2023: Shahrukh Khan, KKR Owner, Will Attend Eden Gardens Game After 4 Years.

Shahrukh Khan, KKR Owner, Will Attend Eden Gardens Game After 4 Years.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Royal Challengers Bangalore will boost the home team. Franchise owner and Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan will be at the match on Thursday night at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. After almost 4 years, the “Pathaan” star will go to his first IPL game at the famous Eden Gardens stadium.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen at the Eden Gardens on April 28, 2019, when KKR played the Mumbai Indians in their last league game. The newspaper “The Telegraph” says that SRK will get to Kolkata on the day of the match. A report says that SRK will be joined at the match by several other Bollywood stars, besides his son Aryan Khan and daughter Suhana Khan.

In his last visit to the Eden Gardens, the owner of KKR watched his team beat Rohit Sharma’s MI by 34 runs, ending a six-match losing streak. The two-time IPL winners will also need a boost from their team owner this time. They lost their first game of IPL 2023 to the Punjab Kings by 7 runs (DLS method) last week in Mohali.

The Knight Riders have had many problems with injuries, and their usual captain, Shreyas Iyer, has been ruled out. Nitish Rana has taken over as captain. Shakib al Hasan, an all-rounder from Bangladesh hired by KKR for Rs 1.5 crore this season, has also quit the league.

KKR said that Jason Roy would replace Shreyas Iyer because he was hurt, but it’s unlikely that the Englishman will join the team before their next game, which will be against the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad.

But KKR’s new coach, Chandrakant Pandit, was sure his team would do well against RCB, whose team will be led by an in-form player named Virat Kohli. “I don’t think that people don’t have enough experience. Every person has made a difference in their own country and worldwide. “They’re all well-known cricket players,” Pandit said before the game.

“I think every player has what it takes to play well.” We’re not reliant on anyone. “No matter what team we have, each player is good enough to make a difference,” he said.

KKR lost to Punjab Kings by seven runs using the DLS method, but Pandit saw the bright side and said that even though they lost wickets often, they were still in the game until the last over. “You can’t judge someone after just one game.” Looking at the previous game, we were in it until the very end. It’s too bad that they lost. “I’m pretty sure we’re on the right side,” Pandit said.
