In Match 65 of the current Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) season, between the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), two very important points will be on the line. The long-awaited game will take place on Thursday, May 18 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
So far, the Orange Army has had a horrible season. Hyderabad’s last home game of the season is on Thursday. They are at the bottom of the table and have only won four of their 12 games. They are coming into this game after losing to the team at the top of the standings, Gujarat Titans (GT).
RCB, on the other hand, will be feeling very confident after their 112-run win over the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their last game. They have 12 points and an NRR of +0.166, which puts them in fifth place.
Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) hitting line-up was shook up by RCB’s bowling, and they were all out for just 59 runs in their last game.
The SRH bowlers also did pretty well against GT. Even though Shubman Gill had a great century, GT could only get to 188/9 on a good field for batting.
As the two teams get ready to play each other in the IPL 2023, it’s important to think about who could make a big difference in this area, especially if they have some good matches.

Mohammed Siraj – RCB:
For RCB to win a big game, their best bowler, Mohammed Siraj, would have to come out swinging at his home ground in Hyderabad. Siraj will have a chance to show off in front of his home crowd.
The 29-year-old had a great start to the season, taking 12 wickets in his first six games. He has taken 16 wickets in a total of 12 games, with an average of 20.37 and an economy rate of 7.76.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar – SRH:
Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be feeling very confident after taking five wickets against the Gujarat Titans (GT). Using his many years of experience, the SRH veteran bowled very well at the end of the game.
SRH would hope that Bhuvneshwar would also do well with the first ball and give the team an early advantage against RCB’s “big three,” Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell. It’s interesting that Bhuvneshwar has told them all off a total of six times.

Wayne Parnell – RCB:
Wayne Parnell took a great 3/10 for RCB against Rajasthan in his first game back after being out for five. The left-handed runner got rid of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Joe Root all at once and ended the game during the powerplay.
Parnell has played five games for RCB so far this season. He has taken nine wickets and has a great strike rate of 12.00.
Good spin bowlers have usually done well early on in Hyderabad, and Faf du Plessis will use Parnell as a wicket-taking option against SRH.
