Australian cricket team are likely to welcome back Cameron Green after he missed the first two Tests due to a finger injury.
Former Australian fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz has provided some advice to the Australian cricket team ahead of the third Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, which is set to start on Wednesday in Indore. Kasprowicz expects that Cameron Green and Mitchell Starc will be returning to the playing XI, and he believes that the team should make seam bowling their top priority. According to Kasprowicz, Green will be picked for the middle order and Starc will replace Cummins, who won’t be available for the match due to other reasons. He also suggested that Green may replace Warner in the lineup.
After suffering an injury to the finger of his bowling hand, Starc was sidelined as Australia lost the first two Tests of the four-match series against India. However, with skipper Pat Cummins and batter David Warner ruled out of the contest, the visitors are expected to welcome back Starc and all-rounder Cameron Green for the third Test.
Kasprowicz, in his advice to the struggling Australian team, has suggested the inclusion of Scott Boland alongside Starc and Green. He has urged selectors to avoid playing all three of Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy, and Matt Kuhnemann.
