Team India lost another ICC trophy final on Sunday. Australia beat them by 209 runs in the WTC Fina/trending-news/rohits-batting-miscue-in-the-wtc-final/l at the Oval in London. India hasn’t won an ICC title since Mahendra Singh Dhoni stepped down as captain. Their last win was the Champions title in 2013.

After India lost the inaugural WTC Final to New Zealand last year, a fan spoke highly of former leader Dhoni, who led India to wins in the T20 World Cup, the ODI World Cup, and the Champions Trophy.

“There was neither a teacher nor a guide, and most of the older players turned down the chance to play. never been captain of any match before. A fan posted this comment with a picture of Dhoni: “This guy beat prime Australia in the semifinals and won a T20 World Cup just 48 days after becoming captain.”

Harbhajan Singh, a former off spinner for India who was part of the teams that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup, wasn’t happy that only “one man” was getting all the credit for winning the ICC Trophy.
