Sunday was the rematch of last year’s IPL final between the Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium. It was also a match between two teams at the top of the Indian Premier League standings in 2023. When two good teams played each other, it was a feast of great duels between some of the best bowlers in the world. It was Hardik Pandya vs. Yuzvendra, Sanju Samson vs. Rashid Khan, and a lot of other fights that stood out.
During the second innings, Hardik Pandya, the captain of the Gujarat Titans, tried to mess with Sanju Samson, the other team’s leader. Pandya was seen talking to Sanju while Shami returned to his bowling mark. But the RR captain said nothing and later answered with his bat. Samson was best because Rashid Khan rarely gets hit for three straight maximums in a cricket game. Samson walked back to the dugout after scoring 60 off 32 balls, but Hetmyer kept the Royals in the game. The Rajasthan Royals beat the Gujarat Titans for the first time with some help from R Ashwin and Dhruv Jurel. The Royals now have the most points because they have won four of their five games.
