In IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals needs to change their plan and focus on winning more often.

Former India player Mohammed Kaif thinks that the Delhi Capitals will need to change their approach for the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023 to keep their chances of making the playoffs alive.

“Delhi will have to pay attention to how its team works together.” This group will have to change its plan. There are a lot of problems on the team, and the players’ spirits are low. Now, the Delhi Capitals will have to forget about everything else and focus on winning, which isn’t impossible, Kaif said on Star Sports’ Cricket Live.

The Delhi Capitals had a terrible start to the IPL 2023. David Warner’s team lost five straight games before beating the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 20. After DC’s first win in IPL 2023, David Warner will lead the Delhi Capitals in their next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Warner has been part of the Orange Army in past IPL seasons, so that he will get a lot of backing at Uppal. The Australian will be hoping that his team can do much better against Aiden Markram’s team than they did the last time they played.

SRH and DC have had trouble hitting; regularity has been their biggest problem. There has also been a need for more consistency in the jobs of batters, which has made it hard for the batting teams to have the cutting edge they need.

It’s rare for a winning team to change its lineup, but the Capitals’ hitting still needs to be solved. Because of Prithvi Shaw’s bad form and the fact that the rest of the DC batters have yet to do much, captain David Warner has had to do too much at the top of the order. Phil Salt finally got to bat in the last game, but it was in the middle of the order. Salt would be an excellent choice to hit with Warner if the think-tank is tired of Shaw. In this case, a spot would open in the middle order, which could put Sarfaraz Khan back in the running.
