As IPL 2023 draws closer, the injury list grows longer. The league, which is one of the world’s most watched cricket tournaments, has always been plagued by injuries, and this year is no exception. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are badly hurt as two key players from MI and three from DC are injured.

List of Injured Players:

The list does not end there, as the Punjab Kings are looking for a replacement for Jonny Bairstow. Two players from the Chennai Super Kings, one from the Rajasthan Royals, and one from the Kolkata Knight Riders are also injured.

The injuries to these players have raised concerns among fans and team management alike. The IPL is a long and arduous tournament, with each team playing 14 matches just in the league stage. Injuries are an inevitable part of sports, and it is up to the teams to manage their players’ workload and fitness to avoid such setbacks. With the IPL starting in just a few days, it will be interesting to see how the affected teams deal with the absence of their key players.
