In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, Sai Sudharsan, a young batsman from Tamil Nadu, was one of the stars for Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans. But his 96 against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2023 final was his most famous game in the T20 league.
Sudharsan’s score of 96 is still the best by a GT batter in an IPL final, but it wasn’t enough for his team to win. But the 21-year-old kept up his good form in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023, which started on Monday in Coimbatore.
Sudharsan hit four sixes and eight fours while batting third for the Lyca Kovai Kings on Day 1 of the TNPL 2023. He scored 86 runs off 45 balls to help his team beat the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, who played first.
By the third over, the team was down to 14 for 3, and U. Mukilesh (33 runs) and Sudharsan took over. Together, they added 82 runs for the fourth wicket. He also scored 43 runs with Punjab Kings captain and bowler M. Shahrukh Khan, who hit 25 off 15 balls.
