When they play the reigning champion Gujarat Titans on Tuesday in the IPL 2023, the Mumbai Indians will try to improve their death bowling. After losing two games in a row, MI won three. However, the Punjab Kings won by 13 runs on Saturday to end MI’s good run.
Mumbai’s death over bowling let them down because it let PBKS score 214 for 8. They will have to fix their bowling before the GT match.
All four fast bowlers, Arjun Tendulkar, Jason Behrendorff, Cameron Green, and Jofra Archer, gave up more than 40 runs in their given overs.
On the other hand, the experienced Piyush Chawla and his spin-bowling partner Hrithik Shokeen have been right on the money because they have stopped runs from coming in, and Chawla has also taken two wickets.
The top and middle of MI’s hitting order have been scoring runs, making them look strong.
