Siraj ruled out of West Indies ODIs

The Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has been ruled out of the forthcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies due to a painful ankle.

“The right-arm pacer, who bowled more than 31 overs in the recently concluded Test match in Trinidad, has a sore ankle and has been advised rest by the BCCI medical team as a precaution,” the BCCI said in a release on Thursday.

The pacer for the series, which begins on July 27, is yet to be announced by the selectors.
