Steve Smith and Mohammed Siraj had a heated argument shortly after the Australian star’s century in the WTC final.

On Thursday, Day 2 of the World Test Championship (WTC) final at The Oval, Australian star Steve Smith got into a bit of a fight with Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj. Smith had just scored his 31st Test hundred.

Smith hit a few back-to-back fours to get to his hundred, which made Siraj reasonably angry. When Siraj came in for the next ball, Smith moved out of his stance. This was possibly because he could see the spider cam in his line of sight.

Mohammed Siraj was angry, so he threw the ball to the wicketkeeper. Steve Smith was surprised to see what he did. He tried to tell Siraj what was going on, but the pacer wouldn’t listen. Instead, he told him to pay attention to the sightscreen behind the bowler and the referee.

The Best Part Of India’s Return Was Steve Smith’s Wicket.

Steve Smith did reach his 31st Test century, but he couldn’t really build on it because Shardul Thakur got rid of him in a session that belonged to India. Travis Head was first caught behind Mohammed Siraj. Cameron Green’s short time at the bat came to an end when Shubman Gill made a great catch.

When Smith was out, both of Australia’s set openers were back in the dugout, which really put them behind. Australia still has a long way to go before they hit 500 runs, as India was able to take four wickets in the morning session.

Rohit Sharma and the rest of his team have accomplished the first goal of the day, which was to take out a bunch of wickets at once. They will now want to finish off the rest of the Australian batsmen as soon as possible. The Aussies will hope that captain Pat Cummins and other players will help Alex Carey get over 500.
