Yuzvendra Chahal surpasses Dwayne Bravo as the highest IPL wicket-taker.

Yuzvendra Chahal, a player for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), passed Dwayne Bravo to become the player with the most wickets in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He did this when he took his 184th wicket in the event. Chahal added another feather to his already excellent cap while playing against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens. He will now try to become the first bowler to take 200 wickets in the IPL.

Chahal came into the game with 183 wickets, so it was clear that he would become the player with the most wickets in the history of the game. On the second ball of the eleventh over, Chahal threw a magical ball that made KKR captain Nitish Rana give Shimron Hetmyer a catch. With this, he passed Bravo and is now the Indian player with the most wickets.

Yuzvendra Chahal – 187

Dwayne Bravo – 183

Piyush Chawla – 174

Amit Mishra – 172

Ravichandran Ashwin – 171

Lasith Malinga – 170

KKR can only have 149:
After some early mistakes, Venkatesh Iyer scored 57 runs for KKR, and Nitish Rana hit 22 runs. When Rajasthan chose to bat first, Jason Roy, who was in good form at the time, was taken out by Trent Boult. This was a great start for Rajasthan. After getting only 10 runs, Roy went back to the stand.

After Roy was out, left-handed hitter Venkatesh Iyer stepped up to the plate. In the third over, Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit Sandeep Sharma for 15 runs with two sixes in a row.

But Gurbaz’s time at the box was short-lived. In the 5th over of the game, Boult gave his team another breakthrough.

Then, Chahal got rid of Rinku Singh for 16 runs in the 19th over of the game. The next batter was Sunil Narine. In the last over, Sandeep Sharma got rid of Narine for 6 runs, which meant that KKR could only score 149/8 in 20 overs.
