Before the WTC Final, Shubman Gill’s ‘romantic’ date with social media influencer Niharika NM went viral.

Before the WTC Final, Shubman Gill’s ‘romantic’ date with social media influencer Niharika NM went viral.

Shubman Gill, the starter for Team India and the Gujarat Titans, has been the center of attention for the last couple of months. After scoring 890 runs in the IPL 2023 season, Gill became the youngest player to win the Orange Cap.

Gill’s love life has always been a hot topic of conversation when he’s not on the field. It was said that the GT starter was dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar. Gill was also seen on a date with Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan, but the two recently stopped following each other on social media, so it’s not clear if they still like each other.

The Punjab batsman’s speech can be heard in the Indian version of “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.” Gill went on a “romantic” date with social media star Niharika NM while promoting the movie “Spider-Man.” A video of the same thing was posted by Niharika on her official YouTube channel. It was called “Awkward First Date with Shubman Gill.”

In the clip, Gill and Niharika play with each other in a cute way. But later on, the date goes terribly wrong and turns out to be funny.

Gill is in London right now before the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against Australia, which starts on Wednesday at the Oval in London. He was on fire for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023. He hit three centuries and scored 890 runs, just shy of 60 on average, to be the most productive batter in the event.

Gill told the ICC, “The IPL does give you a little bit of confidence, but I think this is a totally different situation and a totally different game.”

“But that’s what makes it fun. Last week, we played a totally different game in a different setting. That’s the task, and that’s what makes Test cricket so exciting,” he said.

Gill was on the Indian team that lost to New Zealand by eight wickets in the first World Test Championship final in Southampton in 2021. The skilled right-hander scored 28 and 8 in that game. Gill, who is 23 years old, said that his team had learned a lot from the upsetting loss to the Kiwis.

“We’ve been talking about what we learned as a team and especially as a batting group from that match,” he said. “I hope we won’t make the same mistakes we did last time.”

Cheteshwar Pujara, a senior bowler who had already played for Sussex in the second level of the County Championship to get used to the conditions in England, thinks India are ready for the match. “We have done a lot of work to get ready, so this time we hope to win,” Pujara said.

“Most of the guys have played enough cricket here, and some of them have also played county cricket.”

During his stint, Pujara had three centuries and made 545 runs over the course of eight games. “You need to have that… Pujara said, “We know each other’s strengths, and we’ve played a lot of cricket against Australia, so we know what to expect from the other team.”
