Harbhajan told Star Sports before CSK’s away game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday, April 27: “MS Dhoni’s winning strategy is to back the player in his best and most preferred hitting position.” CSK is a winning team because Dhoni supports his players to the fullest. He keeps his game plan the same after every match or occasionally. The players need to trust and believe in the captain and management. “Then they’ll do well, and the MS and CSK team managers will get it.”
Ben Stokes, Deepak Chahar, Sisanda Magala, and others on the CSK bench have been hurt, which is a worry for Dhoni. But the people in charge of the team, led by Dhoni, had trusted their resources and gotten good results from people like Akash Singh, who had never played before, Tushar Deshpande, Shivam Dube, and Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja (who had a bad run in 2022), and Moeen Ali.
